The Reception Children learn about their Sense of Sight

Friday mornings are always anticipated as there is the promise of an interesting morning presentation during assembly. This Friday, 25th August 2017, the air was alive with the sound of animals as the students of Class 2 (Primary Section) gave an interesting and comprehensive presentation on the Animal Kingdom, classifying birds, fishes, amphibians and mammals according to their traits. The costumes and props were vibrant and life-like but more noteworthy was the students confidence and coordination. The presentation ended on how all the creatures performed Noha and Aweel on Imam Husain, from the birds to the fishes.
Education intends to prepare students for their future life and the challenges which come their way. With this intention in mind, a counseling session was arranged for the senior students of Class 10 who are coming to the end of their school life and must prepare themselves for higher education.
Twelve teachers from BHS are attending BADAL DO, a year-long program led by a consortium of seven organizations. They aim to engage hundreds of teachers from a cross-section of society to become the change makers who will foster peace, social inclusion, tolerance and civic sense in their classrooms to benefit thousands of students and ultimately bring about change in the society.

The students of class 9 from Badri High School participated in an Inter School Speech Contest on the occasion of Independence Day hosted by the Happy Palace Group of Schools.
It takes a lot of courage to get up on stage and face an audience with confidence. However the Montessori Seniors are confident and totally at ease as they tell the audience about the different objects they have brought from home related to Pakistan. The enthusiasm of the children must’ve rubbed off on their parents too as the children had brought a variety of different objects to show and tell. At 9:45 am Amil Saheb of Al Mohalatul Burhaniyah Janab Shabbir Bhai sahib accompanied by Abnaul Jamea stepped into BHS greeted by the cries of Ya Husain by the Pre primary and Primary students who stood in lines to greet him.

An orientation at the beginning of the academic year is the right time to revel in the previous year’s successes, sow the seeds of expectations and share the plan for the coming year and set the tone and pace for the future. It is a time to bring together the parents and teachers for the holistic development of the children so that they may continue to work hand in hand for the entire academic year as a team who have the same lofty goals in mind for the pupils.
11th August 2017 at Badri High School was a refreshing collage of greens and whites as the students came dressed in the colours of Independence and carried fluttering flags and donned badges of the crescent and star. The Primary and Secondary sections had their Independence Day celebrations in two separate areas where the students made passionate speeches on freedom and the role of youth, sang touching patriotic songs and enacted skits which . The Pre Primary celebrations began after 9 and the little ones were an adorable sight in their self-made flags and head bands.
