Young World- Creating readers; crafting writers

oday each student of the Secondary section got their very own copy of the latest edition of Dawn’s Young World @dawn_young_world

Dawn @dawn.today is the oldest and most widely read English newspaper of Pakistan and many readers have fallen in love with the reading habit in their early years via this Saturday children’s magazine.

In an age when the reading habit is dying, the intention is to inspire students to read for pleasure. From the cover story to the stories written by young contributing writers, from the poets corner to the art section and reviews, it has something for every taste and preference.

The Summer Poetry Fest!!

The bilingual English and Urdu elocution was a treat for our literature enthusiasts as poems by Iqbal, Shakespeare, Haali, Meerthi and Frost filled the air.

The orators practiced for weeks with their teachers and the fruits of their efforts were visible today. From excellent oration to to immaculate expression and intonation the students displayed exceptional public speaking skills.

Tehniyat Card for His Holiness Syedna Aali Qadar Muffaddal Saifuddin TUS on his 81st birthday.

The ultimate goal of education is Hub (love). Today, on the 17th day of Sheherullah-il-Moazzam, the students of Badri High School have gathered to offer a piece of their love in the form of a Tehniyat Card for His Holiness Syedna Aali Qadar Muffaddal Saifuddin TUS on his 81st birthday.

The activity has a lot of underlying objectives. For instance, deploying language skills to curate a heartfelt wish, using art and craft in an innovative way, compose poetry and prose in Arabic, Urdu and English Language for writing on the card, and above all, the art of celebration.

Here is a look at some brilliant Tehniyat Cards made by our young mumineen.
