24th May 2023: Wednesday morning was electric as the students were all charged up for their first Final Exam paper. There was also a much awaited guard of honour and welcome for our two trainers Mrs Tasneem Sh Hashim and Mrs. Rashida Adnan who had returned after an action-packed week in Mombasa training JEE 11 participants, young mothers and teachers of the beach side Kenyan city.
They shared their inspiring experience with the children and staff and motivated the children to work hard and grab opportunities.
The anthology of poems Meditations on the Pursuit of Knowledge by Mulla Mustafa bhai Pishori was also launched and the children, especially those who wish to get admission in Al Jamea, were eager to read it.

The ESU international round is to be held at Dartmouth House, London from May 14 to 18th 2023.

The lockdown has hit all of us hard and left us reeling. The
education sector has been hit the hardest—schools were the first to close down
and will be the last to open. Young learners stayed at home– away from their
routine of attending school, deprived of learning in a conducive environment,

As schools closed down in February 2020, Badri High School
was one of the first schools to ensure that learning remained unabated as they
launched themselves online with Zoom classes and assignments on Whatsapp.
BHS prepared results on the basis of the three Monthly tests
and Midterm assessments and promoted the children. Those who were struggling
were given online remedial classes which helped them enjoy individual attention
in the presence of the parents. The results were astounding—the
parent-teacher-child triangle connected beautifully and these young learners
began to strengthen their basic concepts.
The months of April and May were spent in online meetings of
the staff and core team at BHS to make an informed decision about which
software to use to make the digital learning experience as fruitful for the
students as possible. After research, experience and multiple trainings, MS
Teams was selected as the perfect option to conduct classes, give assessments

On 1st June 2020 classes for class 7, 8 and 9
began and the students were exhilarated to wear their uniforms again and see

classes 5-6 were also online. Friday 5th June 2020 marked the day

No matter how long the schools may remain closed, we are ready to take every step possible to ensure that the students of BHS continue to relish the process of learning and imbibing knowledge every single day.
The little
children of Playgroup presented their first ever stage program on Friday, 28th
February 2020 on the new purposely-built, school stage. The stage is created around
shady palm trees encircled by brightly colored stone benches. The palms rise up
from the center of the stage and give it its distinctive charm.
After 4
weeks of practice, from coaxing the children to climb on to the stage to doing
the actions required, they were finally ready to perform in front of their
parents.
As parents
came in, they were offered a golden chocolate coin in welcome and asked to pick
an instrument from the ones displayed and also write the name of their
favourite chocolate on a slip of paper.
The program
began at 9:30 with tilawat by Hussaina Abbas in her sweet voice.
She was joined by Mohammad and Aliasghar in doing tasbeeh
and reciting marsiyah.
The first
presentation was ‘Penguins Attention!’ sung in her melodious voice by Ms.
Rashida Mohammad in harmony with the piano tunes by the music teacher Sir
Ashfaq. It was followed by ‘Shake your Sillies out’ sung with
gusto by Ms. Rashida Rizwan. An interactive storytelling session for
parents was planned between the children’s presentations in which each
character in the story, The Gingerbread Man, was assigned a musical
instrument and parents had to whistle, shake, rattle, blow or beat their
instrument whenever that character was mentioned. Parents participated with
obvious pleasure and enthusiasm to create a delightful cacophony of sounds. The
final presentation was ‘Hop little Bunnies’ after which the gift
chocolate (Mars) was gifted by Janab Amilsaheb to the lucky parent who
had written Mars as her favourite chocolate.
All the
lovely costumes had been prepared by parents for which we are immensely
thankful to them and applaud their amazing efforts.

the ‘Cocomment board’.
Badri High School was pleased to open its doors to welcome a massive crowd of 1600 inquisitive Science enthusiasts on 17th January 2020 for their eye opening Science Fair based on the theme of the Four Elements-Fire, Air, Water and Earth in the light of the miracles of Al-Quran’. Inaugurated by Janab Naeem Bhaisab the fair greeted over 1600 visitors in a short span of 4 hours that included high profile dignitaries such as Dr.Shakeel Farooqi; the Head of Genetics Department at the University of Karachi who could not but be mesmerized by the productive creativity of the fair.
Challenging their own limits, BHS prides on the grand success of Science Fair 2020 as it involved all three sections of the school; Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary.
Engaging their spectators in admiration, young researchers of pre-primary section created spectrum of formalized hands on knowledge on various topics. From meteorologists to scientists, from recyclers to artists, from mechanical engineers to paleontologists, all through their effective communication skills in English won hearts of hundreds of avid learners.
