Blooming Flower

From Grade 5 onwards the students are geared towards preparing for their eventual Aga Khan University Exam Board external exam which they will appear for in Grade 9-10. This involves helping students solve knowledge, understanding and application based formative and summative tasks and assessments.

The day begins with an assembly in the sprawling front ground led by the students themselves accompanied by the Badri School Band. A latest news update and acknowledgement of exceptional performance in any sphere of school life is rewarded in the Assembly. This is followed by a walk in the grounds which is the perfect way to charge up the morning.

The day involves a careful blend of curricular and extra curricular activity aimed at the holistic development of each child.

Communication skills are the main point of focus and these are polished via elocutions, declamations, a student’s blog and podcasts. English language skills are paid special emphasis through an English Speaking Drive where monitors encourage and eventually eloquent speakers are rewarded. The love for writing is clearly seen as our students vie to express themselves and a pair of poetesses have had an anthology published. Students learn to become part of the Prefect Force which inculcates shouldering responsibility and builds leadership skills.
