The students of the classes 6-10 were shown some interesting videos on the solar eclipse in light of the upcoming total solar eclipse which is to occur today on 21st August 2017.
The brief 20 minute session opened with Shaikh Quaid Johar bhai talking about the phenomenon of the eclipse as per our religious beliefs and the precautions one should take.
The Science and Social Studies teachers explained the phenomenon with reference to the videos which showed how an eclipse occurs and what path the 21st August eclipse would follow in the United States. The students were enthralled by the videos and had a lot of questions to pose.
