‘I can’t see my heart but I sure can hear it!’

The Seniors listened to their heartbeat with the help of a stethoscope and learned about all the important work that the heart does in our body.

They pasted a heart cutout on a cardboard figure placing it properly on the left side.

They read the story ‘Guess How Much I Love you’ by Sam McBratney and understood that people who love them are just as important as their heart.

‘I can’t see how my lungs work but I sure can make them work!’

And how they enjoyed it! The children did deep breathing exercises and then played a game in which they had to blow the ball through a tube and make it land in the basket. It was a windy day and some of the balls went off on their own which turned out to be a learning experience in itself.

Later, they blew balloons and went home with a balloon in hand and satisfaction on a job well done.

They know that our love for our Maula TUS helps us to do matam right where our heart is and with every breath we say ‘Ya Hussain’!
