Our school, doubling as a polling station in the recent election, transformed its walls into a canvas for change. The vibrant murals, handcrafted by our students, didn’t just add color; they whispered powerful messages on environmental conservation.

These murals, a labor of love from the artistic students of Badri High School played a subtle yet crucial role in welcoming voters. Before casting their votes, citizens were greeted by these visual narratives, offering a fresh perspective on the issues that matter most to us, particularly environmental practices.

In the midst of election fervor, our murals stood as more than just art—they became a warm embrace, inviting voters to consider the perspectives of the next generation. The walls echoed the voices of our youth, reminding everyone that their decisions shape not just today but the future we’re all stepping into.

This Saturday, 3rd February 2024, was perfection personified. The slight chill, the cool breeze, the nip in the air, the cover of clouds was nature’s inspiration for our young artists. The students of grades 5-8 came together in the front ground to propogate their message on saying no to Haram items.

This was a visual culmination of days of brain storming in the classrooms and engagement of parents and teachers with the children to guide them to reveal what prohibited items are doing to the world and how we must stay away. Moalimeen read out Ayats and bayans to inspire the students and instrumentals created just the right ambiance.

The day ended with a select group of talented students painting murals with their revered teachers on themes like conservation and environment care.

Art allows students to relax and we saw students with visual intelligences excel marvelously. After all, schools intend to unearth and polish skills and provide opportunities that make these learners shine.

The students of Class 7 experienced a day filled with delightful insight into the world of Science at the TDF Magnifiscience Centre. The students enjoyed four action-packed hours where they explored all the three levels of the facility that allows hands-on learning of scientific concepts in the most ingenious way.

Today marks the beginning of the Schoolathon torch passing ceremony, and we at Badri High School are thrilled to kick off this journey! The event was graced by the honorable Amil Saheb Jamali Mohallah, Janab Juzer BS, and other dignitaries from the Schoolathon Management Team and Burhani Guards.

Imani schools in Karachi have truly fostered an incredible atmosphere for the birth of athletes. The spirit of sportsmanship runs deep in our schools, and it’s evident in the passion and dedication of our students.

We are thrilled to announce that 17 diplomats from Badri High School, recently participated in the Model United Nations Conference, DENMUN IV, held at the esteemed Dennings Law School in Karachi.

In a remarkable achievement, Muffaddal Haider secured the coveted *”Outstanding Diplomat”* award, one of the two most prestigious honors at the MUN conference. What makes this accomplishment truly remarkable is that our students engaged in spirited debates and negotiations not only with their peers but also with college and university-level participants.

This victory not only reflects the exceptional talent and dedication of Muffaddal but also underscores the high caliber of our entire delegation. It’s a testament to the commitment of Badri High School in nurturing young leaders and fostering a passion for international affairs.

The bibliophiles of the Senior classes of Badri High School had a field day at the 18th Karachi International Book Fair at the Expo Centre, the most awaited event for any book lover in the city. The students left for the fair after their first Midterm paper and spent two hours spending their time with the most extraordinary collection of books showcased by the most renowned publishers of the country.

The choice of books reflected the students unique inclination and psyche. Some leaned towards animated comics, other towards novels (fantasy, adventure and mysteries) and some towards self help books.

This Monday, the morning sun became more radiant for the children of Class IX A and B who participated and won the distinction award in the category “Wolf of Tech Street” at the Aitchison College, Lahore, were re-presented their tokens of appreciation by their beloved Principal, Janab Shk Hashim Bhai and Head of Section, Maryum J.K.

After the spectacular win in the friendly match at the World Robot Olympiad in Denmark in September 2023, our students took off today to the breathtaking *Panama City* 🇵🇦 in the heart of Central America to compete at the *World Robot Olympiad International 2023* in the *Senior Robomission category.*

The seventh group of the graduating class has reached Najaf e Ashraf on 26th October 2023. They performed Ziyarat of Maulana Ali Ibne Abi Talib SA in the morning and afternoon. The students many of whom have traveled for the first time couldn’t believe their good fortune at being at the heavenly Haram Shareef of Amir ul Mumineen SA.

On the second day they performed Fajr and Maghreb namaz at Masjid e Kufa and also performed Atraaf Ziyarat.

We are thrilled to announce a momentous accomplishment by the brilliant minds of Badri High School!

Our 11 talented students from Class IX participated in the esteemed Aitchison College Science and Engineering Concept in Lahore, an event typically open to college and university students.

Despite being the youngest contenders among elite schools nationwide, including renowned institutions like Lahore Grammar School, Beaconhouse Schooling System, and City Schools, our team emerged victorious!

They clinched the prestigious entrepreneurship distinction award, in the category “Wolf of Tech Street.”

This success not only showcases their exceptional talent but also reflects the dedication, innovation, and hard work that set them apart, making the entire community immensely proud.

Our incredible grade X students recently took part in a memorable Socratic Circle discussion. The topic was one that has sparked debates and discussions for generations: the right age to marry.

What made this event truly special was that it provided our students with an opportunity to share their unfiltered thoughts and questions, fostering an environment of open and honest dialogue.

In the Socratic Circle, our young minds weren’t just participants; they were the catalysts of an intellectual exchange. They spoke freely, expressing their viewpoints with passion, and they asked questions that reflected genuine curiosity and critical thinking.

The discussion session was debriefed by Headmoallim Janab Shk Zohair Bhai, and Moallima Tasneem Ben Saboonwala, who answered multiple questions and enlightened students about the Islamic perspective on the right age to marry.

Encouraging uninhibited expression and inquisitiveness is fundamental to our educational philosophy. We believe that by nurturing these qualities, we’re empowering our students to become confident, informed, and compassionate individuals who can actively contribute to the world.

The auspicious day of Milad Imam u Zaman SA began with an oath taking ceremony of the Student Council, Executive Council and Sports Captains during the assembly today.

The Prefect Body who are role models for the entire school, led by the Head Boy, pledged to uphold the Code of Conduct and perform their duties to serve their school and prepare themselves to perform khidmat of Maula TUS.

Being in a leadership position allows students to juggle multiple responsibilities and serves to groom their personality. It gives them a training ground to take up initiatives in their practical life. We wish them best of luck for their endeavours.

The students of Badri High School appreciated the Khidmat Guzaars of Faiz ul Mawaid ul Burhaniyah in Al Mohalatul Burhaniyah on the occasion of World Food Day by making hand written Thank You cards.

The students visited the FMB kitchen and saw how 30 ladies from varied age groups make 6000 rotis daily to be sent in the households in the mohalla. The boys also appreciated those who perform khidmat of filling and distributing the thaali which is a tedious job that is done every day with discipline and dedication.

Faiz ul Mawaid ul Burhaniyah was the realization of the dream of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA who wished that no believer should go to bed hungry.

As per the irshadaat of Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS an Ijtima was held with the parents of the Secondary Section where the students of BHS shared a few presentations, speeches and group discussions on the many disadvantages of using cigarettes, e-cigarettes, nicotine and other addictive products.

The Primary students also made posters to discourage the youth from using these harmful products.

The morning of Friday the 13th started off with the heart warming activity of the boys of classes 8-10 participating in making rotis. The activity led by FMB khidmat guzaars involved the boys learning how to make a round Mohabbat ni roti with love and care as per the farman if Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS and heating it on a skillet.

There were three objectives behind the activity:

1. Involving the boys in acts as significant as cooking and feeding the family.
2. Making food for the family is teamwork.
3. Boys should be taught such skills so that they can learn that cooking is not only for females.

The rotis were relished with gur by the students of the Secondary Section during the fruit break. Now that’s a healthy snack.
