11th August 2017 at Badri High School was a refreshing collage of greens and whites as the students came dressed in the colours of Independence and carried fluttering flags and donned badges of the crescent and star. The Primary and Secondary sections had their Independence Day celebrations in two separate areas where the students made passionate speeches on freedom and the role of youth, sang touching patriotic songs and enacted skits which . The Pre Primary celebrations began after 9 and the little ones were an adorable sight in their self-made flags and head bands.

After two hours of regular lessons, there was an exciting friendly cricket match between the seniors and male staff in Khaimat ur Riyazat to bring the festivities to an end. Friday Imamat namaz was prayed in Qaat ul Quran and Qarzan Hasana was collected. The students left for home looking forward to a long weekend while the teachers anticipated the orientation that evening.
